      I have to tell you…the time and energy it takes for me to complete a recap is exhausting. I fear that adding more to this load might make me feel like it’s an unmanageable chore and I know I would slowly start to no longer enjoy it. As it is, between the site and the twitter, I am barely keeping up. Almost everyone keeps asking me about a Facebook page, and I just don’t have the energy to start one.

      I suck hard. I’m sorry. :(

    Even though I am one of the “newbies” to your site, I am a HUGE fan already! Your style of writing is amazing and funny and I love reading every word of it! I will savor all of these recaps over the summer while I go into H50 withdrawal. There will be no fight from me over Alec as I am a Scott Caan fan through and through! Love you!         Ooh, look at you eyes.xing us!
        I’ve just recently stumbled upon this little haven on the internets, and while I promised myself that I wouldn’t read any of the recaps until I had seen the episode (which is v v hard to do as we are about four or five epis behind) I find myself now wanting to go and immerse myself in your writing. And I will because what am I going to dooooooooooo without youuuuuuuuuuu?? I shall start with the finale.
        Thank you so much for the giggles and the discussions – I feel like I’ve met a whole new bunch of friends who are so much fun to hang out with. Enjoy your summer, plan our wedding and hurry back!

            Re meeting new friends and all, yes those are my sentiments exactly. I too feel like there is a real community among those who are reading this space (all 5-0 fans, in fact — but those who comment and email and DM stand apart, obviously).

    Maha – First of all…you smell marvelous. Second, an “in person” thank you…great idea. You are the cutiest cheeky monkey there ever was or ever will be. But damn you, you made your Granny cry.
    We fans are simply bouncing back the love you continually send out to us. It is your lovely persona, clever and hysterical writing, educational insights & genuine caring that has captured thousands of devote followers.
    I, as I’m sure most others, joined your site merely for the funny recaps about our favorite show, but we stayed and then became so involved with it because of you. It is we who treasure you…for bringing us the wonderous gifts of laughter, knowledge & friendship. You have brought joy to so many and that’s a rare & special gift.
    Now that the question of your being able to write “funny” has been answered and I say this from my heart, I’m so happy you will still stick with us for Season 2. I can’t imagine the H50 experience without you.

      Yea. I’m a bit of a girlie-girl (and my bracelets are, like, power-specific cuffs from where I derive all energy); I had just removed my red nailpolish, too. It was chipped and I needed to be tops for you :)

      More videos?! Lorraine recommended I “video recap” one episode. So, in real time watch it and somehow split screen it and tape it. Don’t even know if that’s possible but the idea is something I’m willing to investigate though doubt it’s actually doable. But still sounds terribly fun :)

        The premiere for the first epi was called Sunset on the Beach and it was attended by 10,000 people at The Punchbowl in Oahu including the cast and the breasted lights camaro. (neither McG nor Danno driving) I think Lenkov has already mentioned that there will be one for S2. I was on Oahu 2 weeks after the premiere.

    M – What a beautiful, sweet, and touching video – I can’t believe I haven’t seen it until now. Thank you for sending us off into summer with such a heartfelt message.

    I am so glad that *we* have been able to give you something back, whether it be affirmation of your talent (there is a lot of talent there, sister!), pictures of McG, or just a laugh on a bad day. You have given me many a laugh, and also some new points of view about not only h50, but of your other interest areas as well. You have opened up a portal for us to find new friends, obsess over all things trivial and not, and you have done this all in 8 WEEKS! That is amazing.

    So, I know that this video was about you thanking us, but the true thanks should go to you, for what you have created here. Have a wonderful summer, meet tons of interesting people, and we shall be here in the fall.
